It is within easy reach of Oban, Inverness, Loch Ness, Skye, Mallaig and the Road to the Isles, and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula - all of which wonderful day trip destinations.

Balcarres Self Catering is owned and run by Mike and Jackie Warburton who can assure you of the very warmest of Highland welcomes. Whether you need advice on days out in Lochaber, or places to eat locally, we are always on hand to help make your holiday a truly memorable one.

Balcarres is set in an elevated position in a quiet cul-de-sac. The view on the above header is what we see - spectacular views over Loch Linnhe and the Morven hills. Ample safe car parking means that you can confidently leave the car behind at the accommodation and walk into Fort William town centre, just a pleasant 15 minutes' stroll along the side of Loch Linnhe.
